NURSING HOME SING-ALONG

Day: Every Thursday at The Manor
Time: 9:30-10.30 a.m.
Place: Bluewater Bay Manor Activities Room
Purpose: To provide a fellowship and encouragement through music.
Activity: If you love the old favorite hymns, this is the place for you. Join us for an hour of singing and sharing God’s love.

BIRTHDAYS & SPECIAL RECOGNITION

Purpose: To provide a warm and caring touch to Senior Adults of our church with a special remembrance and recognition.
Activity: Participants select one month per year to assist in preparing birthday cards for Senior Adults in our church . Also, this team is activated for other special recognition events that may arise during the year.

COMMUNION TEAMS – NURSING HOME & HOMEBOUND

Day: First Sunday of each month
Time: Serve as your schedule allows
Place: Nursing facilities and homebound
Purpose: To provide the sacrament of the Holy Communion to the Body of Christ to those in our community who are unable to attend Worship.

CHURCH FAMILY MINISTRY – CONGREGATIONAL CARE

Day: As needed basis
Place: Usually intervention is directly with person(s) in need
Purpose: To provide support and help to our church family during times of need with a meal, transportation, child care, and others.

SMART
(Small Maintenance and Repair Team)

Coordinated under Church Family Ministry
Day: As needed basis
Place: Usually intervention is at the home of person(s) in need
Purpose: To provide repairs/maintenance for our church family during times of need.

BULLETIN BOARD MINISTRY

Day: One afternoon a month
Time: As per your schedule
Place: Bulletin Board in the Administration hallway behind Sanctuary choir loft.
Purpose: To create an attractive information center for Senior Adults activities.

NURSING HOME WORSHIP

Day: Once/twice monthly
Time: Sunday afternoon
Place: Local nursing care facilities
Purpose: To provide a worship service for the nursing home residents.
Activity: The Mature Methodist Choir and Children’s Choirs share their gift of music plus a devotional speaker.
